We are approaching that time of year again when we are given an opportunity to break free of whatever habitual tendencies we want to rid ourselves of, to renew our resolve to make whatever positive changes are necessary, and to begin anew. With our New Year Resolutions we can remind ourselves of our ability to transform ourselves for the better and be whatever we want to be. We can all get back to the gym, start that diet we’ve been meaning to start, wake up at 5.30am (that’s mine!), with the bringing in of the New year. Well I guess that’s what New Year is all about after all. New beginnings.
Well it will be new beginnings for My Jam too, come January. We will be re-branding. There are several reasons we are doing this. We want to keep improving. Firstly, we want the branding to more clearly and succinctly reflect what we’re about: Exploration and Wellbeing. Secondly, we want the branding to reflect the high quality ingredients and taste of our jams, and so we are aiming for a more upscale look. With this rebrand, we will also be introducing 2 new flavours!
Regarding these new flavours, about 100 of you have been integral to this process in deciding which 2 to bring out. Some of you may remember that we held a Competition at the Indoor Food & Craft Market at the Biscuit Factory several weeks ago. We asked people at the market if they wanted to enter our Competition by filling in a short Questionnaire asking which combinations of ingredients they liked the sound of by rating them on a scale of 1-10. We’ve already decided which 2 flavours to bring out based on all of your helpful feedback.
I’d just like to express my appreciation to all of you who took part in the Competition and took the time to give us your opinions. It has been an extremely valuable, enlightening exercise for us. We have now randomly picked a Winner from the Draw. So congrats to Michelle who will be receiving her Champagne Afternoon Tea for Two at Norton House Hotel and Spa, PLUS My Jam Gift Basket which contains 2 My Jam Jars (with wooden spoons), ‘Island Breeze’ Tea Blend by Rosevear Tea, Dark Chocolate Covered Cherries, and Oatcakes.
In the meantime, I am very excited about our rebrand and look forward to revealing and sharing our new flavours with you all in the new year.
